I'm terribly sorry that I'm a bit late in writing to you, but I just wanted to thank you for your wonderful presentation at St. Pio School. The kids loved it! They learned so much and had a great time...especially with the puppets . They really enjoyed interacting with them while learning about healthy foods and good nutrition.
Thank you again!

WC Gatchel and Friends was fantastic! He was professional and left enough time for set-up. The kids loved his magic tricks and he kept their attention throughout the show. Our facility takes care of medically fragile children from birth to 21. WC Gatchel went around to all the non-ambulatory children to include them in the show. He was loud enough for everyone to hear even with ventilators and monitors beeping! We are currently teaching some toddlers about potty training and eating healthy. WC Gatchel included these in his show and the kids learned so much in a fun way! I would highly recommend WC Gatchel!

Whiteland Montessori School in Exton recently had the delightful experience of a wonderful puppet show presented by WC Gatchel & Friends. In the 20+ years here at our school never have we witnessed such delight in the eyes of our young children. WC wove a wonderful tale based on his own book that not only taught our young children about the importance of healthy nutrition but kept them laughing and smiling for a full 45 minutes. We would like to encourage anyone who is interested in entertaining and/or educating a group of children to seek out this wonderful puppeteer/magician!

Roxborough hosted a book-centered program today featuring Samuel Formica as W. C. Gatchel, chef to the king from the book, The King Who Had Issues. Mr. Formica’s program was a blend of comedy, magic, puppetry, and audience participation. Our audience consisted of a wide range of ages from babies to fifth graders and all were engaged as Chef Gatchel encouraged healthy eating habits.
If you want to encourage healthy eating habits in a highly entertaining way then this is the show for you.

W.C. Gatchel & Friends show was performed for our Residents at the Birches at Arbour Square on January 24, 2017. Our Residents were very excited to see his performance because we had never had an interactive Culinary Comedian puppet show at the Birches.
Samuel put on a very engaging show using his wide variety of props and puppets to discuss everything there is in staying healthy. His show was an hour long and had our Residents laughing and getting involved with his characters.
At the end of the show they stayed and asked questions and said that it was refreshing to see something so different. They are still asking if he could come back again.
Thank you very much

As a pediatric endocrinologist, I feel very strongly that the message of healthy nutritional choices needs to reach children in many different venues in order to remain for a lifetime. It is imperative to help prevent obesity, and hence, the comorbities associated with obesity.
WC Gatchel brings the book "The King Who Had Issues" to life in a clever and innovative way with an interactive show using puppetry and magic. I have seen it and it's phenomenal!!!

Today we had a special guest who helped us learn new things about healthy eating while making us laugh! WC Gatchel, the Culinary Comedian told us a silly story ...about a king who was waiting for his lunch! We learned about different things that we could make for him using nutritional ingredients including fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. In his story he also talked about why fruits and vegetables are important and this is because they keep our bodies healthy, happy, and energized! Thank you for such a fun show.

"I wanted to thank you for entertaining my Kindergarten and First Grade students this past week. The children...were very impressed with your magic tricks. As I walked in the lunchroom the students told me they made healthy choices so they wouldn’t have an upset belly like the king. What a fun and wonderful message you sent to the students."

WC Gatchel came to our center and was amazing! The children loved the show and were nonstop laughing! It was definitely a worthwhile summer camp activity! What was more impressive was how professional, flexible, and punctual W. C Gatchel was. Not only did I receive all of the required paperwork in a timely fashion but there was also a misunderstanding - on my end - with our start time. He rearranged his morning to make it work for us! I was so impressed, thankful, and appreciative. WC Gatchel will be a forever partner with our center!
